Overcoming a sixteen-point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks triumphed 38-37 at home, notching their fifth consecutive win.
While the Los Angeles had already secured a post-season berth earlier on game day, the Seattle team booked their return to the play-offs after a two-year absence.
With this outcome, the Seahawks have taken over their division's standings with a 12-3 record, replacing the Los Angeles, who dropped to the number five playoff position with an 11-4 standing.

Quarterback Sam Darnold had two picks but regrouped to deliver two touchdown passes, including the second TD to star receiver Smith-Njigba in the extra period.
The Rams held a six-point lead at half-time before Kenneth Walker III broke free for a long touchdown run for the home side.
