It was a performance that clearly signaled their title credentials as they consolidated their position at the WSL pinnacle.

Back-to-Back Losses for United

This outcome represented successive WSL losses for Skinner's side for the maiden instance since last May, putting them a sizable gap off the league leaders with their trophy ambitions in serious doubt.
